The brick-detail on this church is amazing!

I stare out this window sometimes in the middle of class...

My Spanish professor left this at my seat on my birthday.

An Alice in Wonderland themed café that my roommate is in love with.

The inside of a restaurant.

A nice day on my walk home from school.

The best smoothie I have ever had. I forget what fruits were in it, but it was called the Florida. They had different smoothies named after various states in the US.

A nutella crepe with vanilla ice cream and whippies.

The man wasn't supposed to catch me taking a picture of his dog. He had the dog on a stay while he waited outside of the building. He walked in just as I was taking the picture, but he was nice to me!

There is Starbucks in Barcelona and it is rather popular.

Another cool alley.

This is how you locate a metro stop, looking for the big red M.

A gas station! So much different than the United States!

I am assuming this is a hotel or apartment complex.

A park by the beach. There were many dogs here!

This area used to be a marketplace. Pay attention to the ceiling, very cool!

"More than a club." FCB prides themselves on reaching out to the people and standing for many moral values through their various teams. They are not just a men's soccer team, they also have men's and women's teams in a variety of sports like rugby, basketball, roller hockey, and handball.

The FCB stadium, Camp Nou, can seat a little under 100,000 people. It is currently the largest stadium in Europe!

The bench. Not a bench at all, I would be SO happy to sit on that bench!!

Qatar Airways was the second name to go on the front of FCB's jersey. UNICEF was the first, but they were not considered an actual sponsor and FCB always boasted about how they did not need a sponsor for their jerseys. But then Qatar Airways offered a very nice deal.

The view from Mount Tibidabo opposite of the city of Barcelona. I really like the one house in the middle of nowhere!

The only taste of the fall season I will be getting here, but I believe the leaves aren't changing colors and it is always like that.

My lizard friend! He was posing for my pictures and let me get very close to him.

Cactus was a common sight on the trail.

  1. Love the "Hola Mom"!! :)
I wonder what's in the bullet shaped building. You'll have to continue your adventure and find out....maybe high end offices. I especially liked the Fountain & La Sagrada Familia. Amazing.
Nothing very historical but the alley pic is cool.

    1. Yes, Tarragona was much more historical with the Roman ruins than Barcelona appears to be. Torre Agbar, I believe, is a lot of offices and other spaces for conducting business. I will keep posting pics for you to enjoy!
